Municipal water supply is collected in an underground storage reservoir. Underground storage of water is also required and reserve for firefight purpose. It is proposed to provide static storage for firefighting as per the present requirement of NCB. To prevent the stagnation of the water in the static storage tank, water will overflow into the storage chamber for the domestic requirement. This system would ensure the availability of static storage for firefighting all the times. It is proposed to provide 01 day storage for total water requirement . Over head storage tanks are proposed to be placed on the terrace . It is proposed to have approximately half day requirement storage in the domestic and flushing water storage chamber. In addition, there would be static storage for firefighting purposes also, as per national Building Code.
The soil and from toilets and kitchen will be collected in single network of sewer pipes running under the basement celling . It is proposed to install sewage treatment plant on the site for treatment of sewage.
The terrace and balconies of the buildings are proposed to be drained by means of down take pipes while open areas and roads would be drained into drains. These drains are proposed to be aligned along the roads within the Complex as per the landscape design The down take pipes from terraces and balconies would discharge into or over an inlet to the surface drains of the Complex. The drains shall be finally discharged into the municipal drainage system after passing through rain water harvesting and ground water recharging structures.

The building shall be suppled power by the State Electricity Board. Since the source is unstable due to frequent brown out /black out , it is proposed that full DG power backup shall be provided to all the common services and apartments. .Some critical load such as a emergency lighting, headed equipment of ELV system etc., shall be additionally backed up using UPS (Battery backup) system. The electrical power requirement for the project has been estimated based on (at the rate) 50 watt/sq. mtr of FAR area of the apartment.(as per UP electricity authority). Segregation of soild waste
a. The operation of pumps will be based on level sensors to ensure that water is not wasted and to avoid unnecessary operation of the equipment. b. Pumps and equipment will be selected on "best" energy efficiency point. c. water Conservation will be provided using low flow fixtures / flow restrictors. d. Dual-flushing cisterns will reduce water consumption. The tower consumption in dual flush will be (at the rate)maximum 3 liters for low flush and (at the rate)6 liters for high flush. e. Sensor based urinals will be install to ensure flushing only when in use to reduce the water consumption. f. provision of sewage treatment plant is proposed to treat 100 percent waste water generated. g. Recycle of treated effluent will reduce the total net fresh water demand of the project. Thereby reducing the load and dependency on municipal supply. h. Irrigation system management will be provided by providing latest irrigation systems i.e. sprinkler system, time based controller , water metering etc. to reduce the water consumption in horticulture. i. rain water harvesting and ground water recharging for roof and non-roof areas is provided. The total volumetric capacity of recharge structures shall be as required by the regulations. j. Water metering will be provided for landscape water consumption, treated waste consumption , swimming pool and water fountain consumption and bot water consumption through system.
