1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, tablet, or phone) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, to make them work more efficiently, and to give the site owner information about how the site is used. Similar technologies such as pixels, tags, local storage, and software development kits (SDKs) perform comparable functions; in this policy, "cookies" refers to all of these unless stated otherwise.

Cookies can be "session" cookies, which are deleted when you close your browser, or "persistent" cookies, which stay on your device for a set period or until you delete them. They can be set by us ("first-party") or by our partners ("third-party").

2. Scope of this policy

This Cookie Policy applies to the ReraTracker website and platform at reratracker.com and our connected subdomains and services, including:

• The main platform, where you search, study, and track NCR real estate projects, including project pages, drone shots, RERA documents, pricing data, and your saved watchlist.
• Our account system, where you sign up and log in (including phone-number and OTP verification).
• loans.reratracker.com, our home-loan comparison and rate-audit service.
• Other subdomains such as our blog and offices pages.
• Our advisory and lead-handling flows, including enquiry forms and WhatsApp handoff.

It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data more broadly. Our mobile app on Google Play uses similar technologies (device identifiers and SDKs) for the same purposes described here.

3. Why we use cookies

ReraTracker is a data-intelligence platform, so cookies do real work for you and for us. We use them to:

• Keep you securely signed in after phone-number and OTP verification, and protect your account and our platform from abuse.
• Remember that you have seen and acknowledged our cookie notice, so we do not show it on every visit.
• Understand how people use the platform, in aggregate — which projects and tools are most useful, and where we can improve.
• Detect errors and measure the speed and reliability of the platform and our home-loan service.

Your account-based features — such as your watchlist, saved projects, and preferences — are stored against your account on our servers rather than in cookies. We do not currently use cookies to deliver advertising.

4. Types of cookies we use

We group cookies into two categories. The first is always on; the second loads only after you acknowledge our cookie notice, and only on our live production site.

Essential for the platform to work. They enable core functions like signing in, OTP verification, keeping your session secure, and remembering that you have acknowledged this cookie notice. Without them, services you have asked for, such as logging in, cannot be provided. Because they are essential, they do not require consent and cannot be switched off through our controls.

Help us understand how visitors use ReraTracker, in aggregate — which pages and projects are viewed most, how our tools and the home-loan service perform, and where users encounter errors. We use this to improve the platform. These cookies are set by Google Tag Manager (which may load Google Analytics and similar measurement tags) and Zoho PageSense, and load only after you acknowledge our cookie notice. The information is statistical and, wherever possible, does not identify you personally.

We do not currently use functional or advertising/marketing cookies. If this changes, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent before placing them.

5. Cookies in detail

The exact names and durations can change as we improve the platform; we keep this list reasonably current and you can always inspect the live cookies in your browser.

6. Third-party cookies

Some cookies are set by trusted third parties whose services we use. We do not control these cookies, and you should review the relevant provider's own policy. They may include:

• Google — Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics, to understand platform usage in aggregate.
• Zoho PageSense, to analyse on-page behaviour and improve the experience.
• Embedded content, such as videos, maps, or drone footage hosted on third-party players, which may set their own cookies when the content loads.
• Communication tools, such as when you choose to continue a conversation with our advisory team on WhatsApp.
• Our home-loan service at loans.reratracker.com, which may use its own analytics and the tools above to run the rate audit, EMI calculator, and lender comparison.

7. Other technologies we use

Alongside cookies, we may use: local storage (to store preferences and improve speed), pixels and tags (to measure content and campaign performance), and, in our mobile app, device identifiers and SDKs that serve the same purposes set out above. We treat these technologies the same way we treat cookies for the purposes of your choices and consent.

8. Your choices and consent

When you first visit ReraTracker, we show a cookie notice. Our optional analytics and performance cookies (Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and Zoho PageSense) load only after you acknowledge that notice, and only on our live production site. Until then, only strictly necessary cookies are used.

When you acknowledge the notice, we record your choice — together with a randomly generated device identifier, the policy version, and, for security and audit purposes, your IP address and browser user-agent — so we can demonstrate that consent was given.

Strictly necessary cookies are always active because the platform cannot function without them. You can withdraw your acknowledgement at any time by clearing the cookie-consent cookie (and other ReraTracker cookies) in your browser; the notice will then appear again on your next visit. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did lawfully before you withdrew it.

9. Managing cookies in your browser

Most browsers let you view, manage, block, and delete cookies. You can usually find these controls in your browser's settings or privacy menu:

Please note that if you block or delete strictly necessary cookies, parts of ReraTracker, including signing in and your watchlist, may not work properly.

10. Your data rights

Where cookies collect personal data, our handling is governed by India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and other applicable laws. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or erase your personal data, to withdraw consent, and to raise a grievance. Our Privacy Policy explains these rights and how to exercise them. If you are in a region with additional cookie laws (such as the EU/UK GDPR or similar), we honour the consent choices you make through our cookie controls.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our platform, the cookies we use, or the law. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, ask for your consent again. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
