Recycling treated effluent reduces the project s total net fresh water demand. This reduces dependence on municipal supply. h. Irrigation system management will be provided by providing the most recent irrigation system, such as sprinkler systems, time-based controllers, water metering, and so on , in order to reduce horticultural water consumption. i. Rainwater harvesting and groundwater recharge for both roof and non-roof areas are available. The total volumetric capacity of recharge structures must be as specified by the regulations. j. Water metering will be provided for landscape water consumption , treated waste water consumption, swimming pool and fountain consumption, and hot water consumption via the solar system, k. Irrigation system management will be provided the most recent irrigation systems, such as sprinkler systems, time based controllers, water metering, and so on , in order to reduce horticultural water consumption.
